The Print Collection: Wildflower Season 2025

The Print Sale is currently CLOSED. Please CONTACT ME to order.

1: Patience

The Scarlet Flax was a surprise that arrived near the end of the season. The blooms were small, fragile, and fleeting — lasting only one to three days at most. Pictured here alongside Pennsylvania Smartweed, it was a rare and perfect moment — one that never repeated itself for the rest of the season.

This piece is a celebration of patience — a quiet, powerful reminder that things unfold in their own time.

2: Surrender

When I planted these wildflowers I had no idea what to expect. I simply scattered seeds hopefully, watered and waited.

When these Cosmos first started growing, towering over everything else, I had no idea what they were. The frilly leaves and 6-foot tall stems baffled me. I surrendered to the process nature prescribed. Trusting they would bloom — on their own time. I can only control what I can control. The rest, I surrender to Mother Nature.

It was August before they started blooming, and they continued all the way through the first frost in mid-November. Beautiful variations of white, pink, and bright fuchsia. So worth the wait!

"Process patient."

3: Light

These simple Calendula flowers hold a special place in my heart. When I was about 10, my mother gave me a small bag of unmarked seeds to plant. I was just trying out my “green thumb.” For years, I grew these Calendulas, harvesting seeds and replanting them.

So, when they began blooming in my wildflower garden this September, I was thrilled. Their cheerful yellow and orange petals brought light into my life — just when I needed it.

4: Love

Love isn’t always magical or poetic. It’s messy. Awkward. Anxiety-provoking. It’s tough conversations, quiet care, shared silence. It’s the way we keep showing up for ourselves and each other — even when it's hard. Love isn't just about romance. It’s in the way we greet a neighbor, tend a garden, listen to a friend, or gently move a tree frog who lost it's way (video here: https://fb.watch/EnDeRZaZc6/).

The Poppy flower is a symbol of love. I watched as it opened its fragile petals to the sun — wrinkles and all. It simply showed up, as it was. Different from all the other flowers. That's what makes it so lovable. Just like us humans, it's our uniqueness that's so worth admiring.

5: Cheer

Creating this piece stretched me. I’ve always believed I was terrible at arranging flowers — really, truly bad at it. But one day, my neighbor Amy challenged me to make something "whimsical." I resisted for a full month, ruminating on the idea.

Then one day, after three hours of second-guessing (okay — procrastinating), I finally snipped a few blooms and gave it a try. To my surprise, the little bouquet came together beautifully, and created "Cheer" which is a perfect name for this colorful, little bouquet.

6: Peace

This sweet image of tender, pink Cow Basil, Toadflax and Baby's Breath, embodies the grounding peace I found while growing, tending to, and photographing my backyard wildflower garden. I spent countless hours among the blooms — sometimes working, sometimes just sitting beside them. Soaking in their quiet, calming energy.

I hope that when you look at these flowers, you take a deep breath, imagine the warm sun on your skin and feel some of the peace that I felt in this moment, in the presence of this natural beauty.

Wildflower Season: A Reflection

Frequently Asked Questions
About the print sales

Do the prints come framed?

No, prints come mounted on double-thick mat board, and are unframed. This allows you to chose a frame to match your decor. If you would like suggestions or a free mockup, just ask!

Why do I need to frame it?

Framing protects your collector's print from dust, moisture, and fingerprints. It preserves the value of your art and looks professional hung on your wall.

Can I return a print?

Because each print is made to order and limited edition, all sales are final. However, if your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact me right away — I want you to love your piece! I will make it right.

When will my order ship?

All prints will ship on Monday, January 26, 2026. These are made by a professional printer and will be ordered all at once when the cart closes. Then, they will be titled and signed by hand, packaged and shipped to you!

What kind of prints are these?

Each piece is a museum-quality, fine art print, professionally printed on archival, acid-free paper using pigment-based inks. This ensures exceptional detail, color accuracy, and longevity.

Are they all limited edition?

Yes! All prints are part of a limited-edition series, which means only a set number will ever be made. Once sold out, they won't be reprinted. Each print is hand-signed and numbered on the front for authenticity.

What sizes are available?

For this print sale, they come only in 16x20 size, which fits in a standard frame. If you would like a custom size or something different like a canvas, please contact me for a quote.

Do you offer custom work or commissions?

Yes — I occasionally take on custom photography projects or location-specific shoots. Reach out if you have something in mind!
