The only connection these images have is the sunflowers themselves. Each one has a different story.
In the summer of 2025, I used up several old seed packets of sunflowers, not expecting them all to sprout! I ended up with 36 sunflowers in all the corners of my yard!! Some towered higher than the gutters of my garage. Others were teeny tiny miniature sunflowers. They each had their own shapes and personalities.
Enjoy the color and feel of nature into your home with these beautiful prints! No watering required!

Hello, Red! is dedicated to all my favorite redheads out there! This striking beauty was found on my friend Jen's flower farm. She welcomed me to come take photos several times during the summer of 2025. This was one of my favorite photos that I took on her farm. I admire the boldness. Uniqueness. And intensity. If you know a redhead, I'm sure you'll agree!
Painted in Sunlight has a painterly texture, created by using a very shallow depth-of-field. The petals look like swashes of thick, yellow paint brushed across the canvas. And the background mimics washes of watercolors in shades of green and blue. These effects were all done naturally in the camera, not in editing! It gives the image a slightly abstract feel with the unusual angle and textures.
Pair of Hearts is uniquely special to me. I have an affinity for hearts because of my birthday, February 13, the day before Valentine's Day. I grew up with heart-shaped birthday cakes and hearts on birthday cards. I was also born on my grandparents' anniversary and it was always fun sharing this special day with them. As a result, I collect heart-shaped things like jewelry, trinkets, and even clothes with hearts on them. I also look for hearts in nature. As this sunflower began opening, I noticed two petals that were opening up in the shape of two hearts next to each other. Which also just gives me the warm-and-fuzzies because I LOVE love.
Solar Eclipse reminds me of the otherworldly experience of the solar eclipse we experienced on April 8, 2024. We watched it right on our back porch, just feet from where this sunflower grew. This mammoth sunflower was slow to open and it reminds me of the solar eclipse in process. Where were you during the solar eclipse of 2024?
Sun-kissed (named by my husband) was taken right after a storm passed through. This fat rain drop held onto the petal long enough for me to capture and suspend that moment in time. With the sharp focus on the rain drop, the other details of the sunflower soften, and turn into abstract, colorful shapes.
Sunflowers and Susans was a flat lay collection I arranged from the smaller sunflowers and black-eyed Susans in my flower beds. I had planted these sunflowers randomly in my beds, not thinking ahead to how it would look after all the flowers had grown. It was absolute chaos, giant sunflowers popping up everywhere amongst my wildflowers. It was not ideal. LOL!
So, I made the most of it and cut these down and laid them in the grass in this arrangement to create something beautiful with what started as a disorganized mess. Ha! I spent about two hours cutting and arranging these just so. I'm very happy with how it turned out. It was fun making something so unique from these cheerful, yellow flowers.

Sunflower Season: A Reflection
Sunflower Season 2025 was grown out of a love of these cheerful, yellow sunflowers. Growing up, my father planted a large row of sunflowers on one side of our family garden.
At the end of the growing season, he would tie the sunflower heads to the trees, where we would watch the local birds feast upon the seeds. It was a fascinating process to watch: from seed, to flower, back to seed, and feeding the birds in our neighborhood.
These flowers were grown with my own two hands — in my garden, with patience, care, and love. And now, I’m honored to share them with you. Thank you for being here. I hope this collection offers you something beautiful, quiet, and meaningful — something to carry with you, every day.
Thank you for being here. For witnessing and supporting me by reading, showing up, commenting and liking my posts. For seeing the beauty I saw, and for letting it into your home and your heart.
Welcome to Sunflower Season. I’m so glad you’re here.
Do the prints come framed?
No, prints come mounted on double-thick mat board, and are unframed. This allows you to chose a frame to match your decor. If you would like suggestions or a free mockup, just ask!
Why do I need to frame it?
Framing protects your collector's print from dust, moisture, and fingerprints. It preserves the value of your art and looks professional hung on your wall.
Can I return a print?
Because each print is made to order and limited edition, all sales are final. However, if your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact me right away — I want you to love your piece! I will make it right.
When will my order ship?
All prints will ship on Saturday, June 27, 2026. These are made by a professional printer and will be ordered all at once when the cart closes. Then, they will be titled and signed by hand, packaged and shipped to you!
What kind of prints are these?
Each piece is a museum-quality, fine art print, professionally printed on archival, acid-free paper using pigment-based inks. This ensures exceptional detail, color accuracy, and longevity.
Are they all limited edition?
Yes! All prints are part of a limited-edition series, which means only a set number will ever be made. Once sold out, they won't be reprinted. Each print is hand-signed and numbered on the front for authenticity.
What sizes are available?
For this print sale, they come only in 16x20 size, which fits in a standard frame. If you would like a custom size or something different like a canvas, please contact me for a quote.
Do you offer custom work or commissions?
Yes — I occasionally take on custom photography projects or location-specific shoots. Reach out if you have something in mind!
